Preventing corruption practices has become a main concern in PT Kimia Farma Trading & Distribution (KFTD). As a state-owned pharmaceutical holding company, KFTD prioritizes transparency in all aspects of the company to ensure no potential conflicts of interest and that all decision-making procedures are compliant and fair.

Here’s how KFTD ensures that all company processes comply with anti-corruption procedures.

Giving and Receiving Gratuities Reporting

KFTD strives to be free from corruption, collusion, and nepotism by implementing the gratification policy. This policy aligns with the Good Corporate Governance (GCG) Guidelines, Code of Conduct, and the company’s cultural values. Therefore, all forms of gratification should be reported using a formal report form.ย

SMAP

Sistem Manajemen Anti Penyuapan (SMAP), or the Anti-Bribery Management System, is important to support the implementation of GCG among stakeholders. SMAP includes zero-tolerance attitudes towards all forms of bribery by involving all workers and all parties concerned and a fraud reporting system, including indications of bribery.

Whistle Blowing System (WBS)

Another attempt to prevent corruption in the company is a whistleblowing system (WBS). WBS is a mechanism for submitting complaints regarding certain fraud or criminal acts that have occurred or will occur involving employees and other people committed within the company where they work. However, the identity of the person who reported the allegation is kept secret.

Anti-Bribery Management System Certification: ISO 37001:2016

KFTD has received certification of international standards regarding anti-bribery management systems, which is ISO 37001:2016. With this certification, KFTD assures that the company has applied an anti-bribery system, prevents any risk of corruption, complies with the regulation, minimizes potential losses in the company, and shows commitment to KFTD’s integrity.

PT Kimia Farma Trading & Distribution (KFTD) is committed to implementing the above practices to run a company free from bribery and supports the implementation of GCG for stakeholders.
